The Bay Area may not be thought of as a red state but that doesn't mean we don't have a little country in us. Country singer Brad Paisley likes to sing about mud on his tires and little moments with alcohol and that is just fine with plenty of folks here. Paisley brings his songs about everyday life to the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View tonight.
Dave Koz is sort of like Kenny G, just not as ridiculed. Maybe it's because he has nice hair. The saxophonist had his day in the mainstream and still has quite a following years later. He will perform today at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose at 2:30 p.m.
If all someone wants to do is have some fun, seeing them live can't be half bad. Sheryl Crow may have had several hits since her "All I Wanna Do" but she has not been able to shed the the image. And that's not a bad thing. She will be performing tonight at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are still available.
