Drinking and driving on any day is not a good combination.
But on St. Patrick's Day it gets even worse since so many people tend to hit the sauce. That's why this year, like previous years, AAA Northern California is offering to be your designated driver for free.
On St. Patrick's Day AAA’s Tipsy Tow program will offer would be drunk drivers a free tow home up to five miles.
The program will run from 6 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday in Northern California, Nevada and Utah.
The service is open to both AAA members and non-members. To get a tow, all you or a friend have to do is call 1-800-222-4357 and say “I need a Tipsy Tow.”
