Get Out This Weekend: 11/7-11/8

Unwind, unload and drink for charity

WOODSY WATERFALL HIKE: Get together with the Outdoor Adventure Club Saturday and enjoy an 8.5-mile trek through the Marin high ridge trail as it follows a peaceful lake, passes by a series of cascading waterfalls, creeks and natural tunnels created by tree canopies. You might feel like you're in a rainforest as you hike through the lush Cataract and High Marsh Trails in the Mount Tam watershed. There's just no end to the beauty that awaits you along this amazing natural wonder. Lunch is included. Meet at the club on 1750 Montgomery St. at 9 a.m. for the hike.

READY, AIM, FIRE!: Take aim at a good time in Morgan Hill with Absolute Adventures. Whether you're a beginner or a veteran sharpshooter, member or not, everyone is welcome to let off some steam and fire away at the sporting clays. The fee, ranging between $65-$95 includes the use of a shotgun, ammo, safety equipment and lesson.

SCAVENGER CRAWL: Billed as the "rockin new way to calculate your cool" and "challenge both your feet and your mind," Scavenger Crawl 2009 is sure to leave you with a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your belly (and heart). It only costs $20 for this scavenger hunt/pub crawl combo event that aims to raise awareness and support for various charities in the Bay Area.  Meet at the Sports Basement Sunday at 2 for the race.
