Metallica Celebrates 30 Years With $6 Shows

The loudest band to make it big out of the Bay Area is coming back home to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Metallica will play four nights in December at the famed Fillmore in San Francisco. The best part for fans is the ticket price: $6 to get into each show.

But before fans get too excited they might want to check to see if they are a card-carrying member of the Metallica fan club.

The ban will only make tickets available to the Metallica Club. The total price to attend each show will be $19.81, which commemorates the year the band formed.

Tickets are being sold to registered members of the band's fan club through Aug. 8 on www.metallica.com. It costs $45 to $55 to join the club.
