San Franciscans likes everything with controversy. Including their music.
The controversial Outside Lands music festival returns to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco this summer. The dates, Aug. 28 to Aug. 30, for the tour were officially announced Tuesday. No artist lineup was announced yet.
Last year the concert drew more than 130,000 people to the park in its first year. The city is hoping it will draw more people and more money this year for the struggling Recreation and Parks Department, which co-sponsors the event.
Last year residents who live near the park complained the festival would bring added noise, traffic and trash to their neighborhoods. But money speaks louder than complaints.
