Ring in Apocalypse with Fishbone in SF

Inner Mission Hosts Party at Ground Zero

Looking for a place to spend the last night on earth as we know it?  You are in luck!

Funk-punk ska-rock masters Fishbone will grace San Francisco with their presence Friday night at Inner Mission, a club recently acquired by the masterminds behind the Vau de Vire Society in the former Cell Space location at 2050 Bryant Street.

Fishbone has played San Francisco countless times in their 25-year run, but a band playing SF for the first time will join Fishbone Friday night.  TEN, a new group featuring Fishbone founding bassist Norwood Fisher, San Franciscan guitarist Eric McFadden, and Thomas Pridgen, former drummer of the Mars Volta, will make their Bay Area debut.

Also in the house, and on the stage, Friday night will be Heart Touch, The Coop singer Boots Riley, beatboxer Soulati, violinist Leif Karlstrom and DJ Toph One with Vau de Vire Society playing hosting duties.

Doors open at 8 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m. with $20 tickets expected to be available for purchase, but buy ahead to make sure.  A $50 VIP package includes complimentary champagne (it is the end of the world after all), plush lounge seating, private bar access and artist meet-&-greet, plus a signed event poster.
