HE FLIES SOLO: No his wife will not be with him but funnyman Jay Mohr will show up at The Improv, 62 S 2nd St., in San Jose Saturday at 8 p.m. He will actually play a series of shows at the the theatre through out the weekend. THE MAN BEHIND THE LETTUCE: Ever wonder where your food comes from? Ever wonder whose growing your food? Well here is a chance to have some of your questions answered. The Know Your Farmer Dinner at the Red Hill Ranch, 6970 Petaluma-Pt Reyes Rd., in Novato Saturday at 4 p.m. will give you the oppurtunity to eat a meal prepared by Chef Armando Maes of Lavanda Restaurant and meet farmers Doug and Kitty Dolcini, who will be raising what you eat. FOXLESS COMEDY: Funnyman Christopher Titus may not have been able to keep his television show going on Fox but he can book the stage at the Fox Theater in Redwood City. The comic, known for talking about everything from divorce to suicide will take the stage Saturday at 8 p.m. Make sure you don't drive to the Fox in Oakland. Apparently he couldn't book the more well known theatre.
THE LEGENDS RETURN: Hide your bongs because Bay Area legends Cheech & Chong will bring there years of groundbreaking comedy to the Bob Hope Theater, 242 E Main St., in Stockton on Sunday night.

CELEBRATING AN ICON: It has been 10 years since the death of icon GG Akins, who was known for his wild antics on stage. The surviving members of Murder Junkies will reunite with Antiseen's Jeff Clayton on the mic at 924 Gilman, 924 Gilman St., in Berkeley on Sunday night at 8 p.m.
