JOIN THE CULT: The cult 1970s classic movie "Harold and Maude," which was shot almost entirely in the Bay Area, will live for one more day on the big screen at the Brava for Women in the Arts Theater, 2781 24th St. in San Francisco. The movie tells the unlikely story of a rich teenager, whose mother wants to run his life, and his developing relationship with a free spirited elderly woman. Tickets are for a $5 suggested donation and can be had at the door. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m.
LAUGH OUT LOUD: Montreal-based comedian and writer Jon Lajoie will play the Improv, 62 S. 2nd St. in San Jose, at 8 p.m. His work and sly humorings have made him and Internet star without even taking off his clothes. Tickets can be had at the door.
THROW UP THAT WEAVE: The delicious musical tastes of Afrolicious will be on display at the Elbo Room, 647 Valencia St. in San Francisco, starting at 10 p.m. Tickets are only $6 to hear Latin funk, electro Brazilian and afro-beat music with the help of DJs Pleasuremaker, Senor Oz and more.
