    BIG LAUGHS: No Sir Mix-A-Lot will not be there but Big Al will and he likes Big Ass Comedy Shows. He will perform his brand of Latino comedy at The Improv, 62 S 2nd St., in San Jose at 8 p.m.

    COMEDY THROW DOWN: You might want to stay off the streets of Oakland tonight because there is about to be a throw down. Not a violent throw down but a thrown down none the less. The city's self proclaimed funniest comics will battle at Kimball's Carnival, 522 2nd St., in Oakland at 8 p.m.
