British Label Refuses to FCUK San Francisco

British label All Saints says it will open a San Francisco store

The Bay Area shopping scene may have been too rich -- or not rich enough -- for FCUK's blood but that isn't stopping one of its countrymen from moving in.

British fashion retailer AllSaints Spitalfields announced it is to open a new store in San Francisco's Union Square this fall. The move is part of a massive American invasion by the popular British label. And it comes on the heels of French Connection UK leaving San Francisco and several other American cities.

All Saints opened an American e-commerce site and concessions in New York, Miami and Los Angeles last year. The company says it plans to open between 30 to 50 American colonies over the next five years.

The label will open a 5,000-square-foot store at 140 Geary St. in San Francisco and offer a full line of clothing for men, women and children.
