The final nominees for the 2010 James Beard Foundation Awards have been announced. There are over 50 categories, we've got the full list below. Otherwise, here are the big Bay Area highlights.
In the category of Outstanding Restaurant Boulevard made the final list, for Outstanding Chef Gary Danko and Charles Phan both received received nominations, and three Bay Area spots were included in the category of Best New Restaurant: Flour + Water, Frances and RN74. The French Laundry's Timothy Hollingsworth also received a nomination for Rising Chef of the year.
In the category of Best Chef: Pacific , Jeremy Fox (Ubuntu), David Kinch (Manresa) and Michael Tusk (Quince) all picked up nominations. The awards will be taking place on May 3 at Lincoln Center in NYC.
