Arnold Sweet Tweet Crashes Wife's Creamery

Maria Shriver started company in 2008

Apparently, when Arnold Schwarzenegger tweets people listen.

The governor tweeted about eating ice cream made by his wife Maria's company Lovin' Spoonful Tuesday afternoon and within minutes the company's website crashed.

At 1:15 p.m. Schwarzenegger sent the following message to his 1,276,174 Twitter followers:

"Gained 3 lbs last night bc @mariashriver made me try all the flavors of her ice cream - www.lovinscoopful.com. Tell me your fav flavor!"

Within the first half hour the website crashed, but was back up in basic working order soon after.

Lovin' Scoopful
is sold at Lucky and Safeway stores in California.

Arnold must have scarfed down ten flavors in his midnight fridge-raid, because that is how many Lovin' Spoonful produces.

The ice cream gives a quarter of its profits to Special Olympics and other causes, so along with being a family business, Lovin Spoonful make money for a cause close to the governor's heart.
