Joe Abuzaid, Pier 39 shop owner, would like to tell you about the boiling cauldron of conspiracies bubbling over at the tourist cesspool: "You see that, how that store looks?' Abuzaid says, pointing to the Hard Rock Cafe, which, thanks to the supposed conspiracy, isn't doing as much business as the nearby Wipeout Bar and Grill. According to Abuzaid, the Wipeout was rewarded for its participation in the conspiracy by being allowed to have outdoor seating and gaudier signage, making it more enticing for customers.
