Dead Zones: The BizTimes pens a reflective piece…

The BizTimes pens a reflective piece on the FiDi-Jackson Square area that's seen a multitude of high-profile shutterings over the past year (Myth, Rubicon et al.), but with a whole new crop of restaurants moving in, things might finally be looking up for the beleaguered blocks: "...what's coming in does not look like the downtown dining of old, with the possible exception of Quince. In this expensive era, downtown dining is going decidedly downmarket. Gone are the white tablecloths, the art on walls, the opulent floral arrangements. More casual, small restaurants could be an unintended consequence of San Francisco's health mandate and high minimum wage." [BT]
