Guess How Many USB Ports It Takes to Cook Meat

Every once in a while you just want a nice home-cooked meal. When you're sitting at a computer all day like us, take-out is often the preferred choice because it's just a phone call away. But there's a way to cook some delicious beef without ever leaving your desk using the power of USB.

An intrepid DIY-er decided to install 30 USB ports into their PC tower, solder the 30 accompanying USB cables to a portable stove and cook some meat. What triggered such an abominable creation? We haven't a clue, but we're going out on a limb and saying that someone was very hungry one night and heading over to the kitchen was too much exercise.

Theoretically, the entire USB-powered stove could use as much as 150 volts at five volts per port, but considering they are USB 1.1 ports, the actual amount of power may be less. We hope the computer didn't fry itself over a few scraps of meat.
