    Free pancakes anyone?

Most kids don't think about going to IHop on Halloween night.

Lucky for them then that they can still get some free pancakes using Halloween as an excuse and still go trick-or-treating.

The pancake chain will give away free "Scary Face Pancakes" this Friday, two days before Halloween, for kids under 12.

The pancakes aren't actually all that scary, except for maybe their sugar content.

Kids will be served a buttermilk pancake with a mouth made of whipping cream and a nose made of strawberries.

And if that wasn't enough fat and sweetness, the servers will even throw in two min Oreo cookies on the side and candy corn for the kids to get creative themselves.

The promotion runs all day Friday, starting at 7 a.m. at participating Bay Area iHops. You can find your local IHop here.
