As of Monday, the Ike's Place in Redwood City, which is located in an office complex at 555 Twin Dolphin Drive, is only doing business via phone orders.
To quote an SF Eater tipster: "I'm sure the reason for them switching to doing phone orders only is the constant line of people waiting in the hallways. I enjoy having Ike's nearby because the lunch options within walking distance around here are pathetic, but they need better ventilation and a REAL deli space to make it work. I think the landlord is actually working with them in this case, however."
The landlord of Ike's San Francisco location is of course is not working with the popular sandwich shop. The restaurant of course is facing the possibility of being permanently booted from its flagship store in the City because of neighbor complaints about trash, long lines, noise and delicious smells.
