Following stints at Postrio, Globe and NYC's Union Square Cafe, Christian Caiazzo will open a uber-local rustic Italian joint called Osteria Stelline, because you know, no one else in the Bay has hopped on the local trend: "'No one out here is really focusing on the local growers in this way ... My concept is that if an old chef from Naples moved to Point Reyes to try and do a restaurant here, this is what he would do,' he says. This includes making his own mozzarella, pastas and desserts" [MIJ]
