Mobile Food Alert: And Thus Ends the Truck Experiment

The Mission: So the good news is that the phenomenon that is the Mission Street Food project isn't dead by any means, but it is shifting focus indoors after three rounds outdoors on the corner of 21st and Mission. The MSF site has the complete deets on the new direction, but the short story is that they'll rent out a kitchen once a week and invite guest cooks to add on new dishes to the regular menu. The ultimate demise of the truck angle, which was hinted at after a Thursday buzzkill, is a sad one indeed, but it probably will allow for a few new amenities, like liquor and avoiding nutjobs. At the same time, there's suddenly an opportunity for a new someone to stake a monopoly on the mobile gourmet food market.
