Wine Country Restaurant Loses Top Chef

St. Helena's prestigious Restaurant at Meadowood is losing its longtime executive chef

St. Helena: While Christopher Kostow runs the Restaurant at Meadowood (and continues to rack up the accolades), Vincent Nattress has held the title of executive chef at Bill Harlan's swank destination since 2004. Prior to that, he opened up St. Helena's (now shuttered) Roux with his wife, but for the last five years or so, he has been in charge of the food service at Meadowood.

Nattress will be leaving his post in July, in favor of returning north to his native Washington state. A replacement at Meadowood has not yet been announced; though Kostow would be one logical possibility, local chefs might want to spruce up those resumes regardless.
