A sneak peak into the Tavern at Lark Creek, which just reopened with a new look and feel.

Sure, it's in Larkspur, but we couldn't resist taking a look at the overhauled interior within the Tavern at Lark Creek.

After all, its predecessor, the Lark Creek Inn, was a hall of famer once upon a time and everything. The historic Victorian exterior remained untouched in the remodel, but inside is a different story.

The plush seats, tablecloths, carpeting are all history, replaced by more timely features like wood surfaces, communal tables and the like.

One night in, and Team Bunrab has already filed a report on Randy Lewis' new offerings; further reading on TLC can be had in our Opening Alert.

Onetime three-star chef Randy Lewis is back in the Bay after a stint in Nola under John Besh, but we're told that for now, nothing on the menu is over $15.
