Outsourced Star, Bonnie Raitt Stop by SF Indian Hot spot

Where does a British actor playing a call center worker in India go for lunch when he is in San Francisco?

If you are Sacha Dhawan, you go to an Indian restaurant. But not just any Indian restaurant. You have to go to one that is fitting of one of the few shows on NBC that actually gets decent reviews.

One of the stars of NBC's mildly controversial comedy "Outsourced" was in town over the weekend and stopped by the trendy Dosa restaurant on Fillmore Street in the City, according to Eater SF.

The restaurant drew another big fish to try one of its veggie-filled crepes. Legendary singer Bonnie Raitt stopped by on Monday and "she loved the Tamil Vegetable Curry, Coconut Rice & Spicy Mung Dosa."

Despite the celebrity endorsement, if you are looking for a taste of southern India and don't mind spending more than one of the grimier Punjabi restaurants in the Tenderloin, check out Dosa. Or if you want a more affordable but not as fancy take on Indian crepes, head to Udupi Palace.
