Planned Whole Foods Wants to Shift to Haight

Store says moving front doors would allow more light into the store

Whole Foods says that the condo-less store planned at Haight and Stanyan streets in San Francisco may move its entrance to the Haight Street frontage.

Why the change on what has been at times a controversial project? Light The shift will allow the store to set up high windows that would let in lots of light.

The layout should be similar to the store recently opened in Noe Valley, and assuming everything goes well with the Planning Commission later this month, and with construction from May to October, doors should open on December.

Brace your paychecks.
