Ready to Tcho

While its beta store squats on the Embarcadero, Tcho Chocolate has been steadily ramping up its massive 20,000-square-foot factory on Pier 17, and this week, it finally becomes fully operational. If the magical chocolate factory can fill its 4,000 metric-ton-per-year capacity, then experts believe it will not only fill the local void left by Scharffenberger, but it will be among the top U.S. chocolate manufacturers. Also, everything inside is eatable. [BT]
