SF Has Best Restaurants: Richman

Esteemed food critic, Alan Richman says in this month's GQ, that the restaurants of New York are 'predictable' and says San Francisco is where it's at when it comes to food establishments.

"Right now it's San Francisco, where restaurants of ambition and imagination are opening," Richman said in the latest GQ.

According to Grub Street, Richman calls David Kinch of Manresa the "father of this emerging movement," with food that is "startling, local, Eurocentric, and revered."

Other places Richman likes include, Atelier Crenn, Benu, Chez Panisse, Commis, Commonwealth, Mission Chinese Food, Flour + Water, and Sons & Daughters.
