SoMa: Tuesday, as the government built its case against evilman Bernie Madoff, the list of the Madoff assets was released, and interestingly enough, it included Bacar as one of the restaurants in which the Madoffs invested.
Our sources say chances are slim that the feds would actually seize the restaurant, especially if there's only a minority interest at stake (other lawyer types are encouraged to share analysis), and now Bacar is even insisting that its inclusion on the list is a mistake. Either way, we're thinking that's the kind of thing they might want to get cleared up.
