The Shutter Cute Farewell Edition: Anjou Makes It Official

Union Square: When Anjou shuttered last month, it was pretty much a given that the 22-year-old restaurant was doneski forever. Interestingly though, at the time, owners Pierre and Gail Morin curiously left a message on the machine that they were merely going on a two-week vacation and Anjou would return in October, something that seemed more euphemistic than actuality. Now, a tipster sends along the above shot of the official goodbye from the Morins. It's no overdramatic teary shutter signage that we love so much, but it is rather endearing.
