FiDi/North Beach: A tipster sends along word that Cafe Prague has closed down on Pacific Avenue. The reason given is a retrofit, and looking inside, those pretty brick walls might be one of the culprits in the old building. There's no timetable for a possible return, but Cafe Prague is just the latest victim in a very rough year for restaurants in that particular three-block radius (Myth, Frisson, Scott Howard et al.). Yet somehow, Pickles and its clowns keep on keeping on.
