Waffle Mania Finds a Home Without Wheels

More and more street food is finding a home. First Mission Street Food called it quits to focus on its immobile location and now the Waffle Mania truck has opened a kiosk in San Francisco.

The tasty waffle serving truck will have a hot iron cooking toasty treats at 1022 Market St. in San Francisco. The kiosk will be open from Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m, or whenever there are no more waffles to be sold.  Early word from Chowhound puts that number at about 20.

A sugar waffle will set hungry people back $3.50, while if you order four or more you will get a discount of 50 cents per waffles. But you could throw that right back into the toppings, which will run you half a dollar.

No word on whether the more stable location is using pre made batter from a box.
