Filling in for The Bauer, Carey Sweet hands out a deuce to the French Garden, the two-year-old Sebastopol restaurant that has been through its fair share of chef shuffles: "Ultimately, it's these simple fruits and vegetables that raise the French Garden above the ordinary. While the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant often impresses with its cooking, it too often confuses with complicated presentations, and the kitchen still seems to be finding its way."
