Tomorrow, Starbucks will finally release the Clover machines upon the Bay Area. San Francisco is only the third city in the country to be graced with the Starbucks Clover (Boston and Seattle are the others). The thing is though, the highly-touted $11K machines—Starbucks bought the entire company in March—will only be available in eight select stores across the area. Whether the Clover can save Starbucks remains to be seen, and many have been quick to argue that there's only so much a fancy machine can do to help. At the same time, we figure it has to be somewhat of an improvement on the current brew and it will probably get fancy coffee lovers/snobs into the store at least once.
Nonetheless, should you be curious as to exactly which stores will have shiny new toys tomorrow, we've gotten our hands on a list, in full post-jump. Only four of the chosen eight stores are in San Francisco proper, with Potrero Hill, Laurel Heights and Downtown all getting nods. But enough talk, let's get to the list of Clover-equipped stores:
