Development du Jour: Filling in the Bayview

Continuing the march of affordable housing, as market rates come to a grinding halt: Bay Oaks, a four-story, entry-level development in the Bayview for first-time home buyers.

As is all the rage these days, there's ground-floor retail and it's steps away from a transit line, the T-Third.

An enclosed courtyard will provide open space to residents, and there'll be a couple notches on the green belt, too: solar panels, recycled carpet, "eco-colors" (?), bike parking. Coming this October.
