AT&T Park is going to be filled tonight, which means the streets getting there will be as well.

If you're driving to the City tonight and not going to the game, be prepared to be patient.

The first pitch of the World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Texas Rangers kicks off at AT&T Park at 4:57 p.m., which is sure to clog the freeways and city streets leading into the City.

The City has already put up signs warning drivers the downtown streets and avenues around the stadium in China Basin could also be shut down to help the flow of traffic. Muni has also altered its service for tonight's game.

But the traffic problems could linger further into the night, even after fans leave the ballpark in hopeful euphoria.

The City is limiting access to certain parts of Golden Gate Park because of a fireworks show the team has planned after the game.

The fireworks are expected to begin at about 10:15 p.m. and last for about 15 minutes. The San Francisco Police Departmenttold the San Francisco Examiner that the music concourse and other areas of the park will be off limits for awhile for safety reason.
