Ah, the evergreen issue at hand -- Rent control just never gets old! Until, perhaps, it does. With key supervisor seats at stake this election, "community activists" have organized a picketing of the San Francisco Association of Realtors' Office to protest the group's incredibly obvious opposition to the city's rent control ordinance. Renters and activist-types, let your voice be heard! Or rather, drowned out by some gutterpunk with a bongo. It all goes down this Thursday, 5:30 p.m., at Franklin and Grove. [Indybay]
