Magic Pitcher Kills Bacteria With UV Rays

Afraid of your drinking water? The Restore Clean Water System might assuage those fears. It works its miracles by first taking $99 from you, and then the germ-killing heroism of untraviolet light sets in. It's like a high-tech Brita filtering pitcher that you must plug in for it to work.

The site's claims for what this magic pitcher can do are scary in themselves, telling you it'll remove 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.99% of viruses and 99.95% of microbial cysts. Wow, that sounds impressive, but what about that remaining .01% of those viruses?

Even though untraviolet light can indeed kill lots of bacteria and other microbes, I'm still scared. And, it seems inconvenient to have to shine that black light on all the water I plan to drink. Besides, how will you know if it's working? You won't. I'd rather have this one.
