Transbay Blog pores over the plan and declares it perhaps "the perfect embodiment of what one might hope to achieve with city planning." They're talking about all that transit goodness, naturally, what with the project being adjacent to both the T-Third and Caltrain. In the works: a Schlage Greenway lined with residences, not unlike the Hayes Green (or at least a future version of the Hayes Green).
Mixed-used buildings will rise along the three streets that will extend into the former Schlage factory site, and the corner of Bayshore and Sunnydale may get a large grocer (prediction: Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or dark horse Fresh & Easy?).
Height limits are mostly 55 feet, with 65 at "important gateway points" and two parcels topping out at 85— barring any accidental typo approvals. One Transbay criticism: it could be "even denser."
