A multi-vehicle collision occurred on lanes from state Highway 87 to Interstate Highway 280 in San Jose where one lane was flooded Tuesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A slow speed crash involving six cars on the connector ramp from northbound Highway 87 to northbound Highway 280 was reported around 8:45 p.m., CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said.
A Sig-alert was issued at 9:09 p.m. closing the left lane due to flooding and there is no estimated time of when it will reopen, he said.The vehicles are in the process of being taken off the roadway as
of about 9:30 p.m., Van Eckhardt said.
