Monday’s fireworks left the Bay Area with worse air quality, according to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
Parts of East Oakland, San Francisco, and Gilroy reported unhealthy conditions from the celebrations.
However, wind helped clear most of it out by mid-morning Tuesday.
