‘I Just Killed Someone': San Mateo County Bus Driver Says Transit Agency Ignoring Headlights Warnings 

A bus driver who hit and killed a woman walking in the Menlo Park/Atherton area last year is sharing his story, and a warning. He says his bus headlights were so dim, he couldn’t see the woman until it was too late. He and other drivers say they’ve been reporting the problem to SamTrans for years, but their complaints fall on deaf ears. Investigative Reporter Candice Nguyen spoke to more than a dozen drivers who say they share the same fears.
