Dual Immersion Language Instruction (Part 1 of 2)

Rosa Molina, executive director of Two-Way CABE (a state affiliate of the California Association of Bilingual Education), and Christie Carnahan, a first grade dual immersion teacher at Valley View Elementary in Pleasanton, talk about the pros and cons of going to school in a second language. While Spanish is the most popular dual immersion program in California, public schools are also offering Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Italian, German and Armenian.
