1. Pt. Isabel, Richmond
If there’s such thing as doggie heaven, it’s in Richmond. Twenty-three-acres of sprawling grass, trails and all leash free. The Point Isabel Dog Park is the largest off-leash park in the United States. With a doggie boutique, dog washer, great views of the city and all the treats you can eat, it’s heaven for dogs and dog lovers alike.
2. Roy M. Butcher Park, San Jose
Sometimes you gotta go where everybody knows your name, or at least your dog’s name. Butcher Park in San Jose, is a community within a community. With a separate run for small dogs and big dogs as well as Astroturf a plenty, Butcher Park comes in number two on our list.
3. Ft. Funston, San Francisco
Fun in the sun is key when you take your dog to Fort Funston. A combo of beach and grass allows dogs to roam free and meet new friends.
