Annual Doo Dah Parade in Pasadena

The annual Doo Dah Parade was held Sunday in Pasadena. The eye-popping event celebrated 39 years of “irreverent frolicking” on the streets. Dozens of inventive cars and floats accompanied the eccentric costumes worn by revelers and merrymakers. The Doo Dah parade is known as the “Twisted Sister” of the conventional Rose Bowl Parade. It began in 1978 as a way to gain national attention for its satire.
