Calif. Online Sales Tax to Take Effect on Monday

California’s new online sales tax law is set to take effect on Monday, April 1. The state will start requiring out-of-state sellers who make more than 200 transactions or more than $100,000 to collect “use taxes,” meaning you will be paying a little bit more for those items.
