Eight Alameda firefighters are in quarantine after one firefighter in the department tested positive for coronavirus, officials announced Friday.
The health department conducted an investigation and protocol is being followed as those firefighters await test results.
Officials have confirmed that fire stations in Alameda remain fully staffed and able to respond to calls.
