County Seeks State Takeover of Orinda Nursing Home With Past Safety Violations

Contra Costa County health officials are seeking a state takeover of a troubled 47-bed Orinda nursing home hit by a Covid-19 outbreak that has so far sickened a third of its caregivers as well as 27 patients, NBC Bay Area’s Investigative Unit has learned. Jaxon Van Derbeken reports.
