90-Year-Old Woman Mugged, Then Nabs Mugger

A 90-year-old woman, traveling through Oakland from the Central Valley, got lost. She pulled into the Arco AM/PM on 106th Street and MacArthur Boulveard, where she is attacked at the sliding-glass doors. Her attacker flees with her purse. A customer asks if she’s alright and if she wants to pursue the assailant. The customer drives her car while she dials 911 from the passenger seat. They catch and hold the assailant until police arrive and arrest him.
