“JUNEUARY” Weekend Storm. Jeff Ranieri With 2 Scenarios For This Stubborn Storm.

While rain is possible this late in the year it’s quite unusual for a storm with this much cold air and potential moisture to drop from the Pacific. This storm is unique in that it will not just simply move over the West. Forecast models have this stalling off the Coast near the San Francisco Bay. This stubborn pattern could bring 2 different scenarios depending on the storm track. Jeff takes a look at what is likely to happen at this point. Either way… Any rain accumulations above .10″ will likely set new rainfall records & add to our rain season which is above 100% for most of the Bay Area. The California Drought is done with this latest 2011 water surplus. Jeff Ranieri, Chief Meteorologist, June 2nd 2011, 5:56 PM
