California Man Burns Down House Smoking Turkey for Sick Wife

A California man burned down his house smoking a turkey for his wife who is in hospital fighting cancer, KSEE reported. Charles Depriest says he was smoking a turkey for his sick wife Thursday when he fell asleep. That’s when he says the smoker started the grass on fire which eventually started his house on fire. His home is a complete loss. Depriest says it’s a Thanksgiving he won’t likely forget for all the wrong reasons.
