Redwood City police this week released surveillance video of a bald, stocky suspect who allegedly punched a 33-year-old man in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven, and then took off on the victim's bicycle.

The video shows a man, dressed in a blue shirt, walking into the store 400 El Camino Real on July 21 about 11:30 p.m., and talking to someone. The surveillance did not capture the alleged assault on camera. Nor did it capture the suspect riding off on the bicycle.

Anyone with information about this incident or this suspect is encouraged to contact Detective Dave Cirina at 650-780-7607. Those wanting to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
