BART's New $90 Million Security Gates Could Take 4 to 6 Years to Install

BART will give an update on its plan to install brand new fare gates at all stations Thursday. The new design is supposed to prevent riders from sneaking past entrances without paying – a problem BART says costs millions of dollars each year. But with ridership now down dramatically – will BART still be able to afford the new gates? Bigad Shaban reports.
